Arleatha B. Holmes

Arleatha B. Holmes was born Tuesday, March 31, 1942 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She met and married her college sweetheart Daniel N. Holmes in 1964 and that union lasted for over 60 years and produced three children Kevin, Brian and Danielle.  Mrs. Holmes retired from the Port Authority of NY & NJ after 25 years of dedicated service and devoted her golden years to serving the Lord as the Mother of St. John’s Baptist Church in Scotch Plains, NJ where she also resided. Arleatha lived a full life, and after a long illness showcasing her devout faith in God and inspiring many, she left this earth to meet Jesus and received her reward in Heaven on Monday, March 3, 2025.
