Asia Dixon

Asia Monae Dixon (Our Baby Girl) Asia was born January 14, 1998 and went to be with the Lord, her Savior on July 4, 2017. Asia leaves to cherish her memory her Mother, Sheila Nadine Dixon, and Father, Troy Dodson, three brothers: John Lee Abner Jr., Aaron Devon Dixon and Lawrence Jordan Abner. One nephew, John Lee Abner III (and his mother Andrea Cabellero), and One Aunt: Kim Rodriguez, Two Uncles: Michael Dodson and Luis Rodriguez, Grandparents: Lawrence Hubert Dixon, Barbara Jean Dixon, and Brenda Boyd. She also leaves behind a host of other family members and friends that were very dear to her. The family has lived in their Manville home since 2005 and will sorely miss Asia’s footsteps throughout their home. Asia had a heart of gold and wanted the very best for everyone she knew or met during her short time here on earth – she will be missed. Asia (Our Baby Girl) graduated from Manville High School on June 23, 2017 and aspired to become a police office or military officer. We can only imagine what it felt like to grow up in a house with three older brothers who policed her all the time, but Asia, now all grown up wanted to do a bit of policing on her own. Some may know her as Asia; but to her family she was “Our Baby Girl”, vibrant, light hearted, and super sweet. Asia was a rare individual and needed no introduction when she entered the room. She would always walk over to each person and give them a warm hug as her greeting. When you remember Asia, remember the love she shared, her kind words, loveable smile, and her gentle touch. Keep these memories with you always as you remember Our Baby Girl. Rest in Peace my daughter, my sister, my friend.
