Charlotte Mcnorton

Charlotte Gail McNorton, of Somerset, NJ was born on July 1, 1949 to the late Charles and Charlotte Thomas. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Pennsylvania Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She was 68 years old. Charlotte was a member of Mt. Zion AME Church, New Brunswick, NJ where she was a faithful member of the Usher Board. She was a 1961 graduate of New Brunswick High School and a graduate of Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. Charlotte was employed by the Somerset County Board of Social Services as a Social Work Administrator when she retired after 39 years of service. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was predeceased by her elder sister Barbara Adams. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Kimberly of Somerset, a son, Jonah (Monique) of Georgia, four grandchildren Isaiah, Jasmine, Jonah Jr. & Nina; a sister June Eads (Frankie) of Monroe, NJ, brother in law Robert Adams, Goddaughter Robin Adams, and a very “special” niece Nicole Adams all of Highland Park, NJ
