Dennis Miller "Spazzz"

WILLIAM BATTLE affectionately known as FUQUAN born on September 30, 1992 to David and Venus (nee Brown-Bey) Battle. WILLIAM was educated in the Newark Public School System. He worked for Arnold Manufacturing for 29 years until he became ill and had to retire. WILLIAM had a charismatic personality that made us all love him. He loved all sports and was particularly fond of the NY Giants. He was also well known for his nice shiny Cadillacs. WILLIAM was predeceased by his father David and mother Venus Battle. His brother James and sister Elizabeth. He leaves to mourn his wife, Yvette Ashford-Battle; daughter, Tamika Burks; sons, Saadi Burks and Sabore Jones; stepdaughter, Andrea Ashford; god daughter, On'yae Robinson; eight grandchildren, Tonyae Burks, JahQue McCaskill, Tamia Burks, Anjanae Jones, Ayonna Jones, Saadiyah Burks, Elizabeth Ashford, and Zakiyyah Burks; two great- grands, Makiyah Barnes and Carter Wright; siblings, David (Arlinda) Battle, Robert Battle, Reggie Davis, Queen (John) Brown, Gladys Davis, April Davis and Joseph Davis; in-laws, Renee Ashford, Regina Ashford, Craig Ashford and Sharon (Denton) Evans; aunts, Sadie Harris and Mary Brown-Bey. He had a very special/parental relationship with his aunt, Eunice Brown-Bey and his uncle and best friend, Charles Battle; and a host of nieces,cousins and friends.
