Gloria was born April 3, 1931 in South Bound Brook, NJ. She was the fifth child of the eleven childrenof Simeon and Anna Ridley. Gloria was predeceased by her older sister, Marion Christine Ridley; two younger sisters, Kelly Jean and Alinder Ann Ridley. Also, predeceased by three younger brothers;Rollon, and twins David & Donald Ridley. Three older brothers; French, Gilbert and Milton Ridley. Gloria is survived by her younger brother Jerry L. Ridley of Plainfield, NJ and a host of nieces and nephews. Gloria Ridley became the wife of John Faso in 1964. They lived in Plainfield, NJ for several years and owned a home in South Bound Brook for several years. Most of Gloria’s years were spent with her loving husband, John Faso, who predeceased her in 2003. They lived in Franklin Township, NJ approximately 30 years. Gloria worked as a technician many years with RCA Corporation. She was born and raised in South Bound Brook, NJ. Gloria attended grade school at Robert Morris School in South Bound Brook and graduated from Bound Brook High School. She studied music in various music studios and became a well known singer throughout Central Jersey. Gloria volunteered many weekends singing for Veterans wounded and hospitalized after the Korean War Conflict, as well as for older folks in Convalescent Residence Homes. Many night club and theater appearances fulfilled her singing career. Gloria was also a member of Faith Fellowship Ministries in Edison, NJ. She read her bible daily and was quick to encourage friends and family to embrace God’s Word.
