Kevin J Harris Sr. a.k.a Truck passed away suddenly at home Saturday May 9, 2020. Kevin was born March 21, 1963 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Alice S. Daniels Harris. Kevin was christened at Overcoming Faith Church of Christ Brooklyn, NY. He moved to New Brunswick, NJ in 1969 with his mother and brother Terry. He received his education in the New Brunswick School System and was a proud graduate of the Class of 1982. He was previously employed with Rutgers, Bristol Myers Squibbs, High Grade Beverage and currently employed with The City of New Brunswick Water Department as a Senior Water Repairer for 17 years. Kevin was a phenomenal person all around. He enjoyed watching and playing sports, coaching football (NB Raiders), kick-boxing, working out, teaching others how to work out, playing games and sending gif’s on his phone. He loved spending time with his children and hanging out with his 1982 classmates. Kevin truly loved his family and friends. He loved taking pictures and showing off his "BIG" smile to the world. He was loving, caring and cherished being around family and friends. He would joke about everything and he just made you laugh all the time. Kevin is predeceased by his mother Alice S. Daniels Harris, four aunts, sister Frances Wesley (Leon), brother Tyrone Harris, past union Tonge Harris and life long friend Wallace Chamber. Kevin leaves to cherish his memory, two children from his past union, daughter Autumn Harris of Winterville, NC and son Kevin Harris Jr (Nakaya) of Greenville, NC, his wife Patricia Harris and two daughters Molita and Amari Harris, son Nyeem whom he raised as his own of Somerset, NJ , three grandchildren, London, Kevin III and Novah, two brothers Terry Harris (Cynthia) of Somerset, NJ and Robert Harris (Brenda) of Los Angeles, CA and sister in law Louise Harris of Henderson, NC, three brother-in-laws Morris and Corey Berrian of New Brunswick, NJ, Marcel Berrian (Latrale) of Piscataway, NJ, many nieces, nephews, cousins, two godchildren Malika Taylor and Nafeesa Jones, two lifelong friends Donald Taylor and Kimble Little and a host of friends. He will be truly missed as our brother, husband, father, godfather, grandfather, uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, friend and co-worker.
