Mildred Louise Stein was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on October 12, 1937 to Lucille Sams Bradshaw and Raymond Reginald Bradshaw. She departed this life on Monday, December 2nd, peacefully in her sleep with her family by her bedside. Mildred graduated from New Brunswick Public School System. She recently retired from Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, where she worked for 62 years. Mildred was a self-taught artist and lover of all things beautiful. She was a doll maker and made her own porcelain dolls from scratch. She did elaborate and beautiful needlepoint. She was an avid crocheter and was known for making beautiful blankets and booties for family and friends as well as newborn babies at RWJ. She would spend countless hours drawing and doodling. You would find her most nights watching cooking shows and home improvement shows. Mildred was elegant and classy and always believed one should put their best foot forward hence, why you never saw her without her red lipstick! Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and Raymond Bradshaw, her adoring husband William Stein, her sisters Carol Jenkins, Doris Bradshaw and her only brother Raymond Bradshaw, Jr. Mildred leaves to cherish her memories, her sons; Anthony Bradshaw, Timothy Bradshaw, daughter in law; Rosalyn Bradshaw, two grandsons; Salaheddin Bradshaw, Nashid Bradshaw, one granddaughter; Nadiyah Spencer (Maurice Spencer), one great grandson; Langston Caleb Spencer, two sisters; Charlotte Hammond (Thomas Hammond), Shirley Williams (Joe Williams). Along with a host of loving nieces and nephews and extended family.
