For God so loved the world that he gave us Patricia Lorraine Williams, affectionally known as Tricia, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and a dear friend. She was the daughter of Elbert and Mabel Mace, born on August 30, 1956 in Newark, N.J. At age 12, she was recruited as a talented soloist (Soprano) by Tina Levrette, a professional Soloist and pianist who traveled globally. Patricia also was offered to go on tour with her mentor but her parents felt she was too young to travel at that time. She continued to sing in school choruses, church choirs, weddings, talent shows, and answered the calls of references who heard her angelic voice. She was raised in a family-orient environment where she passed and utilized those values. It gave her the greatest joy and a wiz at planning and celebrating special events with relatives, friends, friends of friends new and old. She attended West Side High School Class of 1974 followed by Berkeley Secretarial College. Tricia married her childhood sweetheart, love of her life, Gregory Williams, Sr., on October 23, 1976 and In this union they borne 4 children. They were members of The AME Church and held a strong faith in her God Almighty. She was employed at Seton Hall University for 29 years, utilizing their Employee Education Program obtaining a Bachelor Degree of Art and Music. Our Patricia, departed this life and transitioned to her Heavenly Home on July 29, 2021 at 4:26 a.m. at The Princeton Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gregory Williams, Sr. Parents, Mabel and Elbert Mace, 4 Siblings: Douglas Mace, Frances Height, Elberta Williams and Marvin Deans; 1 sister in-law, Christine Campbell. Patricia leaves to cherish in her memory: Her daughter Tesha Hall (Darrel). 3 Sons: Gregory, Jr., Tyrie (Nicole) and Preston (Sharel). 11 Grandchildren(s): Taliya, Gregory I, Gregory II, Kyshan, Samad, Jamil, Zariah, Amir, Lakia, Taijun, Ishmael. 3 Great-Grandchildren: Ya’Zhir, Yahsin, Amiyah. 2 Sisters: Angela Yuille (Barry), Rosa Flounoy (Jerry), 2 Sister-in-law Sharon Camp (Jimmy) and Donna Harris, 2 Brother-in-laws: Darrius Williams, Sr., Reverend Danny Campbell. 1 Special Nephew, Darrius Williams Jr., God-son Barry Yuille, Jr., 24 Nieces and Nephews. 14 Great-nephews and nieces, relatives and a host of friends.
