Richard J. Wargacki, 76, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, Sunday, September 26, 2021. Born in Irvington to the late Anthony and Julia Wargacki, he formerly resided in Piscataway, then Manville before moving to Hillsborough. Richard was formerly a freight driver for UPS before working for the Piscataway Board of Education as a Maintenance Supervisor. He was very religious praying the rosary daily for himself and others. In addition, he was a fisherman and enjoyed hunting in his younger days, going to the beach, bay and the ocean and being out in the sun. He was a true people person always laughing and joking with a witty sense of humor. Richard was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother who will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Surviving are his loving children, Ricky Wargacki, Gayle Kralovich and husband Ed, his cherished grandchildren, Christopher and James and fiancé Olivia and his cherished great-grandson, Jayden, and his brothers, Anthony and Thaddeus Wargacki. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Adult Day Center of Somerset County, 872 E Main St, Bridgewater Township, NJ 08807.
