Vanessa Johnson

September 25, 1966 — August 27, 2024

Vanessa Johnson passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2024. Born September 25, 1966, in Perth Amboy, NJ, her childhood years were spent there, and she was educated by the Perth Amboy School system. Most of her adult life she resided in Rahway, NJ. And subsequently moved to Linden, NJ until her demise. Vanessa graduated from Cittone Institute in Edison and furthered her education at Union County College where she received an associate’s degree in accounting. While residing in Rahway, Vanessa met and later married Philip T. Johnson, who preceded her in death.

Vanessa had a successful career and dedicated herself to CN Communications International, Inc for 38 years where she served as the Director of Operations until she could no longer do so. Her devotion did not stop with her employer, Vanessa loved the Lord and began serving at Agape Family Worship Center where she gave tirelessly of her time and talents for 35 years. She served in Body Builders Bookstore, the Outreach Ministry and received a certificate in General Theology from Pneuma Life School of Ministry. But her service as Director of Media Ministry for Agape Media Group brought her the greatest joy. She adored her Team and often said that “her service was her way of spreading the gospel to the world.” Vanessa served in ministry wherever she could, and her life exemplified a true child of God.

Beyond all her accomplishments, Vanessa was first and foremost a devoted mother, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She found joy in spending cherished moments with her family. Vanessa was a beautiful soul who loved with her whole heart. She will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
