Vernon Henry King affectional known to family and friends as “Lupie” was born December 23, 1952 in Northampton County to Jim and Minervia Fields King. He departed his life on Tuesday December 8th 2020 at Clara Mass Medical Center in Bellville, NJ. He attended W.S Creecy School. Lupie later moved to New Jersey with his wife Julia of many years. While living in New Jersey he became employed at Automatic Electro Planting for over 25 year. He later retired as a foreman. Lupie loved playing cards fishing and hunting with his brothers and closest friends. During his spare time you will often find him and his brothers at the race track. His big heart and radiant smile will truly be missed by everyone. He leaves to cherish: two sons: Vernon King (Doris) of Newark, NJ: Karif Ford of Newark, NJ: two daughters: Larkisha King Newark, NJ: Kim Moses (Lamar) of Durham, NC, five sisters: Menervia Smallwood of Hillside, NJ; Pattie Bellamy of Irvington, NJ; Annie Helton of Rich Square, NC; Leah Greene (Freddie) Plainfield, NJ; Barbara Cogheil of Locust Grove, GA one brother: Joseph King of Newark, NJ. One Uncle; Alfonso King of Bronx, NY; 8 grandchildren 1 great –grandchild, along with host nieces, nephews, and friends.
