Obituary of James B Allen

James Allen was born June 29, 1939, to the late
James B. Allen and Alma Allen in New Brunswick,
New Jersey. He was the second child of five siblings
and was affectionately known as Sonny to everyone.
James departed this life on October 16, 2018, at Robert
Wood University Hospital.
James is preceded in death by: his father and mother,
James and Alma Allen; sister, Doris Watson; brother,
Arthur Allen; two sons, Karl and James (Keith) Allen;
one daughter, Donna Presley; and granddaughter,
Nakira Ballard.
James was educated in the Middlesex County School
System, after which he joined the United States
Air Force. He was later employed at Ruberiod in
South Bound Brook, and Weldotron Corporation in
Piscataway, New Jersey. James continued to work after
retirement for Watson Services in Newburgh, New
York, and Allied Securities.
He leaves to cherish: his wife, Amanda Allen; three
children, Karen Allen of Suitland, Maryland, Kim
Allen (Mel) of Trenton, New Jersey, and Kathy
Stintsman (Tom) of Levittown, Pennsylvania; one
sister, Carol Petty (John) of Piscataway, New Jersey;
one brother, Leroy Allen (Mary) of Franklin Park,
New Jersey; thirteen grandchildren, Tomika, Marquis,
Thomas Jr., Brittany, Ashley, James (Jimmy), Lauren,
Anthony, Gavin, Angel, Jaelyn, Avianna and Julianna;
three great-grandchildren, Kaylyn, Xavier and Jovonni;
one beloved aunt, Helen Jackson; and a host of nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
