Obituary of Patricia Lorrain Williams

Please share a memory of Patricia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

For God so loved the world that he gave us Patricia Lorraine Williams, affectionally known as Tricia, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and a dear friend.

She was the daughter of Elbert and Mabel Mace, born on August 30, 1956 in Newark, N.J.  At age 12, she was recruited as a talented soloist (Soprano) by Tina Levrette, a professional Soloist and pianist who traveled globally.  Patricia also was offered to go on tour with her mentor but her parents felt she was too young to travel at that time. She continued to sing in school choruses, church choirs, weddings, talent shows, and answered the calls of references who heard her angelic voice. She was raised in a family-orient environment where she passed and utilized those values.  It gave her the greatest joy and a wiz at planning and celebrating special events with relatives, friends, friends of friends new and old.

She attended West Side High School Class of 1974 followed by Berkeley Secretarial College.

Tricia married her childhood sweetheart, love of her life, Gregory Williams, Sr., on October 23, 1976 and In this union they borne 4 children. They were members of The AME Church and held a strong faith in her God Almighty.
