Obituary of Gina Marie Tanski

Gina Marie Tanski of West Caldwell, 64, passed away unexpectedly on
August 12, 2024. Born March 27, 1960, in Denver, CO, Gina’s life
journey took her through California and Arizona before she eventually
settled in New Jersey, where she spent the majority of her adult life.

Gina’s love for learning was a constant throughout her life. She
attended Bound Brook High in NJ before graduating from KOFA High in
Yuma, AZ. Her studies continued with classes at Arizona Western,
Somerset County, and Morris Community Colleges, and she proudly earned
an associate’s degree from Raritan Valley Community College.

Gina also had a successful early career before dedicating herself to
motherhood full-time. She worked as a Quality Assurance team leader at
Smith Industries and at Lockheed Corporation. She also worked as a
software Quality Assurance Manager at Prudential Insurance Company,
Scholastic Corporation and Wall Street Financial institutions.

Beyond her educational and career accomplishments, Gina was first and
foremost a devoted mother, sister, and friend. She found joy in the
simple pleasures of life—camping, fishing, sewing, and most of all,
spending cherished moments with her family.  Gina was a beautiful soul
who loved with her whole heart. She will be greatly missed by those
who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Gina is survived by: daughter Alexis Tanski, husband Arthur Tanski,
her mother, Rita Sak, brother Troy Cleary, his wife Christine, sisters
Michaele May and Trish Godbey and her husband Joe, as well as many
nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her father Harvey
Dale, brother Robert Bandjo Cleary SR., adoptive father James Cleary,
Stepdad John Sak, as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.
