Obituary of Kimberly Gayle Pool

Kimberly Gayle Poole was born on April 29, 2003 in Newark NJ to Lee and Nakeisha Poole. She was educated in Newark Public Schools, attending South 17th Street School, Central High School and graduating from University High School in 2021. Growing up Kimmie hobbies were singing in the church choir, praise dancing and playing the drums. She also enjoyed music tik toc dancing she was a big fan of Rod Wave, A boogie, Partynextdoor, PNB Rock, Jhene Aiko, Ariana Grande, Sza, Lil Durk, Gospel specifically The Wall Group, Ablaze, Chris Brown, and tv show songs. During her high school years, she a member of the Central High School band where she played the trumpet and symbols. Kimmie enjoyed pizza tacos can’t forget chips with every meal and something sweet. Kimmie had a special love for children. Kimmie was employed by the Newark Board of Education where she served as a Teacher’s   Aid and recently employed by IKEA where she served as a Smaland Co-Worker. She did not play about her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed spending time with her best friend Trinity Gilmore and a special friend Joquan Cady. 

She departed her earthly life on September 10, 2024.

Kimberly leaves behind to cherish her father and her mother Lee and Nakeisha Poole, her grandmother Dorothy Hall, her siblings Dorothy Poole, Sierra Allen, Leah Poole- Grimes, Cameron Brantley, Tahleeyah Brantley, Christopher Poole, Darius Poole, Kyrah Poole, Nakira Poole, And Kaylee Poole, five nephews Al-Tariq Harris, Jasir Poole, Adam Allen, Asaad Watson, and Sair Grimes, three nieces Makayleigh Allen, Dariona Salinas and Saliha Grimes and a host of family and friends 

She was preceded in death by her great grandmother Shirley Burneys (Granny), grandmother Gayle Johnson, grandfather Ernest Smith and William Hall, Aunt Kimberly Poole and Tahlerah Carruthers and uncles Henry Poole and Lonell Carruthers and godmother Belinda Rouse.
