PLAYBILL On Friday, March 3rd, 2017 the world lost one of its most brightest, talented, passionate, generous, sweetest and loving souls. With his sudden passing, our dear brother Sham leaves behind a huge family and countless friends and colleagues who have all been deeply touched by his presence.A 2010 graduate of Arts High, Abdul-Hamid went on to attend Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts. He performed in plays at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Shakespeare Globe in London, and several productions at Rutgers.He was the friend who made you laugh so deeply you didn't think it was possible.He was the brother who loved Kendrick Lamar and the rising actor everyone knew would one day be the next Denzel Washington.
