Obituary of Tamekia Nicole Rivers

Tamekia Nicole Rivers was born in Newark, New Jersey on August 23,1975 to Mrs. Sharon Rivers and Mr. Ernest Price both from Newark New Jersey.

Tamekia devoted herself to her longtime fiancé Shariff Davis, son Nahki Davis, family and friends.

Tamekia graduated from West Kinney High School in 1993. She later began a career in early childhood development in 2055 in which she gained grateful employment at Christian Pentecostal aftercare program, she later became a supervisor she loved her students and staff members.

Tamekia touched so many lives. The room would just lite up when she entered. One of the greatest things was growing with her, spending time telling jokes, and reminiscing on our childhood. Her favorite saying is (I need to go to the mall)! Tamekia was known for her strengths, laughs, independence, faahion, her amazing hair styles, and just keeping it real.

Tamekia was preceded by her late daughter Najah Davis. She leaves to cherish her mother Sharon Rivers and father Ernest Price, son Nakhi Davis, sister Quateisha Rivers, nephew Tihi Walker Jr. ,niece Zekiyah Rivers, god sister Felicia Hammer, god daughter Sakijah Lockhart. Close friends Vanessa, Kimm, Zandra, Tiffany, Fatimah, Qwuanna, Kelly, Deborah, Rhonda, Natia, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Tamekia was muti talented beyond belief. She is famous for her hair styles, fashion, and blunt remarks. She especially calls herself simply imperfect! She will forever be remembered as a fashion statement..Tamekia Nicole Rivers we will miss u...I  love you.
