Obituary of HATTIE KINMAN

Please share a memory of HATTIE to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

On November 17, 2019 the angel of the lord called out to Hattie Kinman and said; “Your work is done, I shall give you rest”.  She made her transition to her heavenly home. Do not shed a tear whatever needs to be done make sure you make it there. She is walking around heaven all day.

Hattie Kinman was born on January 24, 1951 in Eufaula, Alabama to the late Mitchell & Juanita Peterson. Hattie was one of seven children. She accepted the Lord at a very early age. In the household, there was the presence of the Lord, Love and family.

Hattie Kinman relocated to New Jersey at a young age, received her formal education in the Newark Public School system, and was a graduate of West Side High in 1969. Hattie went on to receive her Associates Degree from Essex County College.

Hattie Kinman met the love of her life Otis James Kinman through God’s design. Their story was such a love story until death did them part.

Hattie Kinmen through love gave life to five children, Ulonda Lowery, Moses Lowery, Leon Lowery, Joy Kinman and James Kinman.

Hattie Kinman was an early riser, she loved shopping and she loved spending time with her family. Some of her favorite pass times was playing cards and dancing. She was a straightforward person. Always said what she thought and always told the truth. As it is said, she never held her tough, and it was all done in love.

Hattie Kinman love love loved her grandchildren and cherished every minute she spent with them.

Hattie Kinman’s life ended much too soon and though she is going to be genuinely missed, remember there is an angel smiling down on you.

Her sisters, Maybelle Barnes and Irene Peterson, preceded Hattie Kinman in death.

Hattie Kinman leaves to mourn her siblings Mary Lee (Charles), Mitchell Peterson (Deborah) and Connie Hayes (longtime friend). Her children Ulonda Lowery, Moses Lowery, Leon Lowery, Joy Kinman and James Kinman. Her Grandchildren Ayona Lowery, Breyonna Lowery, Leon Lowery, Brae Lynn Lowery and Noel Lowery and a host of relatives and friends.
