Obituary of Cynthia A. Richardson Patterson

Cynthia A. Richarson, affectionately known as "Chop", was born on June 5, 1956 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to the late Anderson Richardson Sr. and Viola Richardson. Cynthia departed this life at Home in North Brunswick, New Jersey. She lived in Franklin Township until she was 9 years old. She attended the Franklin Township school district until 1964, when the family moved to South Brunswick, NJ., where she attended school and and graduated from South Brunswick high school in 1974.

Cindy loved to draw and she loved art. She was on the South Brunswick, "All African Women Drill Team". She was the second oldest daughter of Anderson and Viola Richarson. She played a special role in helping her mother with her younger brothers and sisters. She continued to provide loving care and support for her siblings throughout the rest of her life.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents Anderson and Viola Richarson, two sisters. Castella Ricketts and Vanessa Richardson She leaves to cherish her memory five brothers:

Anderson Richardson, Jr. (Valerie) of Hightstown NJ, Oscar Richardson of Somerset, NJ Bruce Richardson (Valerie) of New Brunswick NJ, Gregory Richardson (Alfreda) of Somerset NJ, and Darnell (Janie) Richardson of Seattle, WA; she also leaves two sisters: Benita Stout (Kenny) of Cherry Hill, NJ, and Donna Stewart (Clarence) of Browns Mills NJ; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

To sorrowfully cherish her memory she leaves behind two sons Sean and Kirey Richardson; her god daughters Ahlexus Bibbs and Kahdajah Haynes. Her beloved nieces and nephews who she cared for like her own children. Beverly Jefferson, Tanya and Tammy Voorhees, Tywon Richardson, Hope Richadson Sullivan (Andre), Samantha Richardson, Brittney Richardson and Brianna Richarson.
