Very sad about the passing of
my first Boston friend and cousin, though I did not meet you until Boston. Happy spirit you were, generous, easygoing,
you always loved a party: Glenway Street and Alabama Street. Then we both moved away, but would always be bound by love and happy memories and the few times we connected via phone.

About twenty years ago I met Therese for the first time at work, and a very strong friendship was forged.
I looked forward to going to work because of her. She was funny, helpful and so loving. She always jokingly said that we may be related since it’s believed that Jamaicans share a connection with Ghana (where I come from). She had suggested going to Ghana with me some day…but I pray that heaven will now take her every where she was not able to go.
I miss her!
I will miss my visits to her home.
I will miss our lengthy chats over the phone.
I miss the pictures she used to send me of her flowers.
I miss the hymns we sung and the words of encouragements we shared.
Thank you again for the Bible you gave me. You even imprinted my name on it! I still have the dried petals of the rose you put in the bag with the Bible, and I will cherish them forever.
Heaven rejoices over you!!
My daughter and I love you and miss you dearly.
Rest peacefully, my friend!

Tina, I send my sincere condolences to you and your family. I met "my girl" as I affectionately called her, about 35 years ago and clicked right away. Our carribbean roots gave us plenty in common but, beyond that she was such a dear friend to me. I could go to her for anything. I could go on and on about her.
